The Scoop on Poop

Dear Pet Owner,
You say you want your dog with you as much as possible. That he is your family member, your fur baby, your everything. That is great. I encourage you to provide everything fun, positive and healthy for your dog. I’m all for it.
But I’m asking that you also provide for your community so the rest of us can enjoy a fun, positive and healthy outing with our loved ones too. And it just isn’t fun for me when I end up with poo on my shoe. I don’t want to find a stick to try and dig the doggy crud out of the crevices of my kids tennis shoes. I don’t want to have to repeatedly drag my foot through the grass to get Fluffy’s excrement off of my new boots. And I sure don’t appreciate having the smell follow me around half the day because I didn’t have time to wash Fido’s doo doo off my shoes before my office meeting.
I honestly don’t mind your dog. As a matter of fact, I like cats, dogs and animals in general.
But I mind that you leave behind your dog’s droppings.
If you want me to not care that your dog is in the park or sitting at the table next to me in the outdoor care then PLEASE pick up after your dog.
